Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is ARVANTISLAB - CONSTRUÇÃO E INSTALAÇÕES, LDA, company registration number 519 605 845, with its registered office at Rua Hermano Neves, n.º 8, 3.º, Escritório 7, 1600-477 Lisboa, Portugal, owner of the HidroLab brand. 2. Data we collect

• Contact data you provide through the form (name, email, phone) and the content of your message.
• IP address the form is sent from, stored with the request to prevent abuse and automated submissions.
• Technical browsing data strictly necessary for the website to operate.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Responding to contact requests and preparing quotes: pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). Contact details are needed to reply to you; without them we cannot follow up your request.
• Providing the contracted services: performance of the contract (art. 6(1)(b)).
• Invoicing and tax obligations: compliance with a legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
• Handling complaints and defending legal claims: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
• Website security and prevention of form abuse (recording the IP address and limiting submissions): legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
• Website usage statistics (Google Analytics): only with your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Retention

• Contact requests with no follow-up: 12 months after the last contact.
• Customer data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter for the warranty period of the work (up to 5 years) and the 10 years required for invoicing records.
• Traffic analysis data: up to 14 months, as configured in Google Analytics.

After these periods, data is deleted or anonymised.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. It may be shared with:

• providers who support us (website hosting, accounting, email and messaging tools), bound by contract and confidentiality obligations;
• Google Ireland Ltd., for Google Analytics, when you give your consent, and through the Google Fonts service, which receives your device’s IP address to deliver the website’s typefaces;
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., when you contact us via WhatsApp, under WhatsApp’s privacy policy;
• public authorities, where legally required.

Google and Meta may transfer data to the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which both companies are certified.

HidroLab and LumineLab are brands of the same company, ARVANTISLAB - CONSTRUÇÃO E INSTALAÇÕES, LDA. If you contact more than one of our brands, your contact data may be linked to the same customer record, so we can provide you with consistent service across brands.

6. Your rights

At any time you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to the processing of your data, as well as withdraw consent. To do so, contact us at geral@hidrolab.pt.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

7. Cookies

This website uses:

• Strictly necessary storage: your cookie choice, kept in the browser (localStorage) until you delete it. No consent required.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4), only after you accept in the cookie notice: _ga and _ga_*, lasting 2 years, used to count visits in aggregate. Without consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.

You can change your choice at any time; the notice reappears and you may reject.

8. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page.
